CARE AND REPAIR - How to Treat Your Garden Building
Warps easily
Here at Waltons we use only the highest quality British timber but of course any type of wooden product needs care and maintenance to remain at that high quality. Please check out some of our helpful videos and articles on maintaining Garden Buildings; ua-cam.com/video/5E7ettG1fwM/v-deo.html www.waltons.co.uk/pages/product-maintenance
I have always gone for shiplap myself. Personal preference. It just has a neater look. I have a new shiplap shed coming monday that is pressure treated. I'm looking forward to putting it together as I have already done a base for it.😁😁
Sounds like a fun week ahead! Have Fun! 👍👍
Nice! I would chicken the Philips screws and get some Robertson screws immediately! Nice easy shes

Excellent assemby video thank you

Hi, is there a video of how to build this please?
What are the nails used for?
Truly awful company, both in quality and customer service. Waltons and Mercia Garden Products are the same company, likely promoting themselves under Waltons given the godawful reviews for Mercia. I see the company lost £2.1m turnover this year compared with the last, going to the dogs and no surprise. Top tip: it's not the market, your reputation for service and quality is pants. I wish I had properly researched the company and reviews before we bought, but I went on the Waltons reviews. We purchased a summer house and found on construction a number of significant issues. To name a few, the door didn't meet the frame and the roof sections didn't meet. The screws supplied seem to be made with plasticine. After spending a long time constructing and deconstructing it to check it wasn't our error we contacted the customer service team. There followed an insane back and forth being told the measurements were correct as per their specs so they couldn't do anything. They were sent all the information, including photos to show the huge gaps where pieces met. It was a summerhouse we were looking for, not an observatory. However, trying to be reasonable with Waltons is like shouting at the sun (which I can do more of now, thanks Waltons!). They have you in a clear bind if you've spend ages erecting the thing, putting us off the inevitable nightmare of a refund - if this is how pisspoor their service before a refund request, life is too short to start that journey. We just wanted replacement parts for bits that were faulty, but were told the replacement parts would be the same (they must specialise in sh*te materials). Do yourselve a favour and look elsewhere. There is a veneer of a decent company from their online presence but this is quite stage managed - shysters and cheaters who don't give a hoot about their customers. Buy from a proper company.

Great video demonstration, less worried about building my shed now when it comes as 99% of the time the instructions may aswell be in Cantonese.
We’re so pleased you found our installation video helpful and that it has put your mind at ease - We hope you enjoy your new shed when it arrives - Happy building!
Thanks for sharing. Can the shed be built on the opposite side?
Thank you for reaching out! I am happy to confirm that the shed can be built on the opposite side! I have attached a link to the product page below where you can find the instruction explaining how to attach the shed to the opposite side. If you require any further information our customer service team are on hand to help. Happy building! www.waltons.co.uk/waltons-11-x-7-wooden-corner-summerhouse-with-side-shed
Thank you so much for a brilliantly informative video
We are so glad to hear that you found this helpful! :)
Enjoyed your vid. Simple to follow, well produced and expertly presented. 👍🏾 As the first comment on here, I'll never understand why people give somthing a thumbs down without leaving a comment as to why!🤔? Yes there are more in depth (20min +) vids on laying shingle out there but this is a shed in the UK and we don't use shingle on houses so totally adequate instruction for the construction.
thanks was helpful for me
Good idea, however fetching to flimsy. I would like to see this shed in a wind tunnel lol.
Much easier to take down a brand new shed. It would have made sense to show an old shed being taken down. All those rusty screws and felt stuck to the roof. Fake Black Widows and centipedes. Show us how you take down a rank shed.
Looks like it will fall over on a really windy day
Do you have an instruction video for replacing the windows on your 7x7 Bournemouth summerhouse?
This video was great in helping assemble as certain pages are unclear. Good work, thank you!
Thx, lifesaver
Awesome video. Thank you!!
Did Not show how exactly how to make the holes on the concrete floor to insert screws
Good
Where do i get these wall and roof , floor panels ?
Where can I purchase one of these Thankyou
No concrete base? Just a wooden base on uneven ground🤪😢🥴.
🤔
The shed went from 😊 to 😞
Mine is made with all nails.cant just take the shingles off in 1 sheet like that, or dismantle walls like that.
Muchas gracias, fue muy útil ¡¡ Thank you Very much, It was very useful¡¡¡
Hello, what diameter of drill did you use to anchor the shed? Thanks for feedback.
But what about spiders tho????? 🥺
Well detailed information just about to build one like this Thank you
Brilliant cheers,now I can assemble my 10 x 4. 👍🇬🇧
Would it work on a corrugated roof?
Hello
Cost?
Wish it was sold in the USA
Anyway to get this in Aistralia?
I think a sledgehammer and a sawzall would make it quicker
An excellent video.
Very interesting an informative vid..
